We understand families can’t always be there, that’s when our Companion Angels step in. We provide a specialised professional and confidential service, offering you support and peace of mind knowing someone is there after your hospital procedure. Offering companionship at your fingertips when you are in hospital or recovering at home with the help you need to rest and recover in comfort.
Pre-hospital admission
In Hospital
Being away from home is no fun, particularly if your stay in hospital is longer than expected and you’re worrying about other things.
Bed-sitting - Sometimes it is nice to have someone just to talk with. Someone, who will sit by your bed and perhaps read to you, share experiences, laugh at a joke, or simply hold your hand.
Children- For children, a hospital stay can be particularly distressing and it can be hard for Mums and Dads to divide their time between children in hospital and family at home. Our Companion Angels will sit with your little one while you take a much-needed break or spend time at home. We’ll stay by their bedside and help keep them calm and entertained until you return.
Discharge - Returning Home
When you’re ready to return home our Companion Angels are available to provide as much or as little support as you need, (from 1-hr through to 24-hr round the clock care). We understand your recovery doesn’t end when you leave hospital. Let us settle you into the comfort of your own home with support services including transport home, home-cooked meals, personal care and overnight stays.
When family members are restricted by distance or time a Companion Angel can be called upon to be that someone.
