Depending on your circumstances, you might choose privately funded care at home or apply for government-funded support. Many clients use a combination of private and government-funded support services.

Privately Funded Home Care
Angels in Aprons specialises in designing tailored care to meet your individual needs. We can support you from when you need just a little help occasionally, or when recovering from a hospital stay, to providing 24-hour around the clock care at home, including care from our team of Registered Nurses.
We’ll work with you and your family to provide responsive and flexible care and give you peace of mind with a familiar team of dedicated carers providing services you can trust.
The advantage of our privately-funded services is that there’s no wait – we can start immediately , when you need us. For many families this has been a great comfort during times of crisis, for short-term emergencies through to long-term support and rehabilitation.

CHSP
When it comes to staying independent, our clients tell us that a little bit of help goes a long way. The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provides entry level support to help you live independently in your own home for as long as possible.

Home Care packages (Consumer Directed Care)
Angels in Aprons is known for helping people to get the most out of their Home Care Package, ensuring the process is easy and stress-free, giving you more time to enjoy the benefits. We were founded on the principles of consumer-directed care, which means we work with you to provide support when you need it, where you need it and how you need it, with a smile on our face.
It’s not just about basic care – the benefits you get from your Home Care Package can relate to anything that gives you confidence and helps you keep doing the things you love at home and stay connected to your community.
There are four levels of Home Care Packages. Angels in Aprons provides a flexible, responsive service designed to give you the care you need and adapt with you as your needs change. Our Angels will be there to guide you through the process, from your ACAT assessment to planning for your daily needs.
My Aged Care will allocate a package to you at one of the following levels:
Levels 1 and 2: which supports people with basic/low level care needs (eg a weekly clean, weekly grocery shop or a social visit)
Level 3: supports people with intermediate care needs (eg daily medical prompting, meal support, domestic support, shopping, a daily visit and a weekly outing)
Level 4: supports people with high level care needs (all the above plus more hours to cover nursing, dementia care, wound care. Our Angels provide flexible, holistic support including clinical and nursing support in your home to suit your changing needs.)
Additional Support
You may be eligible for extra support if you have dementia or are a Veteran who qualifies for the Veteran supplement.
Our Registered Nurses can assess your extra needs and help you access additional funding. We can assist you with MASS, continence and dementia assessments or Oxygen supplement to ensure your comfort so that all your needs are met.
